More sessions coming up in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned!

Melissa and Matt's Engagement
I had the pleasure of photographing Melissa and Matt last week, for their engagement session. They will be married on November 28th in Pittsburgh, and I look forward to seeing this sweet and affectionate couple on their wedding day. I especially look forward to seeing what a beautiful bride Melissa will make!

Christi and Mark - September 19
Christi and Mark were married on September 19th at one of the coolest venues I've ever visited - Restaurant 1884 in Leechburg, PA. Christi's father is the owner of this beautiful old farmhouse, and although Christi and Mark now live in Massachusetts, they visit this home where Christi grew up regulary, and knew when they were planning their wedding that this was the place they wanted to celebrate their special day.
I really enjoyed being in the presence of a great couple, their good friends, and this lovely farmhouse on a beautiful early autumn day. This is what being a wedding photographer is all about for me. Witnessing a special day with my camera and my heart.
Here are just a few favorites!

Terri and Michael - September 5
Terri and Michael were married on September 5th on beautiful Mt. Washington. Their reception was at the Monterey Bay Grotto, where the view of Pittsburgh was almost as extraordinary as the food!
Terri and Michael are one of the most considerate couples I've ever had the pleasure to photograph - not just to me, their photographer, but to each other. Every conversation I witnessed between them was a kind, loving and respectful exchange of thoughts and decisions regarding their wedding day - a day when most people are stressed and distracted. I was so touched to witness their amazing partnership, and so glad that they chose me to photograph their beautiful wedding day!
Here are just a few favorite photos from the day.

Misty and Jim - July 18
Misty and Jim were married on July 18th on a beautiful summer day designed just for them. I loved this couple from the first moment I met them, and had been looking forward to their wedding day almost as much as they were! Jim is the amazing architect and sculptor that designed the sculpture at the Hot Metal Bridge on the Southside of Pittsburgh, and I was thrilled to photograph the wedding party there, after the ceremony. The reception was held at the spectacular LaMont Restaurant, which offers one of the best views of the city I've ever seen.
The love between this couple was an amazing thing to witness, and made it especially easy to be behind the camera as their family and friends celebrated them on their wedding day. Here are just a handful of favorites!

Maggie and Dave - July 17
Maggie and Dave were married on July 17th, on an especially dramatic day! The clouds had parted long enough for Maggie and Dave to say their "I Do's," and for a few photos to be taken, and then the clouds gathered once again for a dramatic display by the time we reached the reception at the beautiful Chartiers Country Club. By sunset, the sky was almost as gorgeous as Maggie and Dave. Here are a few favorites!

Jill and Brian's Wedding
Jill and Brian were married on June 20th at beautiful Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Despite a rainy morning, the sun peeked thru right on cue, immediately after they stepped out of the church! The weather continued to cooperate as Jill and Brian led their guests to the remarkable Mallard Island Yacht Club for one of the most beautiful receptions I have ever seen.
Congratulations, Jill and Brian! And I almost forgive you for not taking me along on your honeymoon to the Bahamas!
Here are just a few favorites, followed by a slideshow.

Michelle and Eric's Wedding
Michelle and Eric were married on May 2nd at the fabulous Lamont Restaurant on Mt. Washington. I really liked this couple from the first time I met with them on a cold winter day in December, when Michelle walked in wearing a Steeler jersey. This was my introduction to my Pittsburgh clientele!
We had the pleasure of getting to know each other better during a recent engagement shoot, and the reminder of what a sweet couple this is made me look forward to their wedding day even more. Let me just say that they surpassed my expectations!
Such a wonderful couple to begin my time in my hometown of Pittsburgh, where the people are friendly, genuine, and kind hearted. If Michelle and Eric are any indication of what awaits me, I can hardly wait!
